Allied Irish Bank

Attached to the champagne was a simple note that said, "Have a great holiday!" From Allied Irish Bank.


I am proud to be a Londoner.

Just 20 hours later I was in London again. I travelled on the Underground between King's Cross and Russell Square just shortly before it was bombed.

I asked Anna where she was based. And she explained that she was working at a call centre in India. Little wonder then that she did not appreciate that for me to travel to my father's branch is a journey of about 75 miles and would take approximately 2 hours each way!


Alan sugar impressed me.

Alan gave each of the eliminated competitors his business card and said to them, "If ever you call me, I will take your call".

WOW!


Forget satisfaction and loyalty! What I really learnt on a trip to Disney World.

It also started to raise questions in my mind about customer service and customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Maybe we should stop thinking about satisfaction and loyalty. Maybe we should just concentrate on making people happy.


Trust

Clearly Peter and the person at the body shop had had some disagreement. And, as a result, Peter had lied to the customer.


Times Square

When I got back home and checked my hotel bill I felt that I had been over charged on a particular item. It wasn't that the item was wrong it was simply that I felt I had been charged too much.
